How can a buyer find answer for these questions? Then we are witnessing the huge inventory in the market that the rule of supply and demand will apply.

There is not really a simple answer to the original question, because it situational and it depend a lot to what location you want to buy some of these location are giving up to $200 000 reduction (there are motivated builder and seller's in the market), some markets the property sits in the market more that 120 days and some for 3weeks, so the seller are looking to the would be buyers differently. According to some expert there would be more foreclosure coming by December, because so many of the Arm type of loans are due for refinancing, and credit crunch, and less qualified people and Jumbo loan-driven market, we will witness more inventories in the market. Another factors for the 4th quarter is the holidays are coming but the retail sells has been sluggish, and people are using their plastics more and more so the credits are declining more. all these signs are saying that if the seller keep their property they may get less in future and if they are more motivated and help the buyer they may be able to sell faster in this market ,and reinvest their money in other opportunities.
